Government of Alberta - Community Spirit Grant
In 2013, HPCL was the beneficiary of a Community Spirit Donation Grant in the amount of $1,251.60.
Proceeds from this grant were used to fund the Greenshack Program - summer playground leaders at Alexander Rutherford Playground and MacEwan Playground. A portion of the funding was also used towards outdoor soccer expenses for the upcoming season
MacEwan Tree Planting
Thank you to the volunteers who came out September 28th to plant trees in MacEwan Park. It was a wonderful, sunny morning. City of Edmonton staff was there to equip, lead and educate. Digging, dirt, mulch and stakes, plus eight pairs of willing hands gave eight new trees to beautify the park.
